Un bébé demanda à Dieu :
- On m'a dit que tu vas m'envoyer sur terre,
mais comment vais-je vivre là-bas,
alors que je suis si petit et sans défense ?
- Ton ange t'attend et il prendra soin de toi.
Le bébé demanda un peu plus tard :
- Ici au Paradis je n'ai rien d'autres à faire
que sourire et chanter pour être heureux.
Que devrais-je faire sur terre ?
- Ton ange chantera pour toi et
sourira aussi pour toi toujours,
tu ressentiras alors son amour et tu sera heureux.
L'enfant demanda encore :
- Et comment serais-je capable de
comprendre ce que l'on me dira,
si je ne connais pas la langue ?
Dieu répondit :
- Ton ange t'apprendra les mots les
plus beaux et les plus tendres que
tu n'as jamais entendus et avec beaucoup
de soin et de patience il t'apprendra à parler.
- Et que devrais-je faire pour te parler ?
Dieu répondit :
- Ton ange t'aidera à te prosterner et
il t'apprendra à prier
- Qui me protègera ?
- Ton ange te protègera au péril de sa vie.
- Mais je serai toujours triste de ne plus te voir.
- Ton ange te parlera toujours de moi
et il t'apprendra à revenir vers moi
ainsi je serai toujours près de toi
A ce moment-là il y eut un grand silence
au Paradis et l'on pouvait entendre
des voix venant de la Terre et
l'enfant pressé parce qu'il devait partir
tout de suite posa une dernière question.
- Mon Dieu, si je dois partir maintenant,
dis moi s'il te plaît le nom de mon ange ?
- Tu l'appelleras simplement "maman".
